Flow2Pay — Privacy Policy

Flow2Pay ("the App", "we") is a Shopify app that lets merchants hide, reorder, and rename payment methods at checkout based on rules. This policy explains what data the App processes and why.

Data we collect

• Shop information: your .myshopify.com domain and the OAuth access token Shopify issues so the App can operate on your behalf.
• App configuration you create: the rules you configure — rule names, the payment-method text you target, and conditions (cart-total thresholds, country codes, customer-tag names, product and collection IDs).

Data we do NOT store

The App does not store your customers' personal data. At checkout, the Shopify payment-customization function evaluates the current cart total, shipping country, the buyer's customer tags, and cart product/collection membership transientlyto decide which payment methods to show. This evaluation happens inside Shopify and the data is not persisted by us.

How we use data

Data is used solely to provide the App's functionality (customizing checkout payment methods according to your rules). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

GDPR & Shopify compliance

We honor Shopify's mandatory privacy/compliance webhooks:

• customers/data_request — acknowledged; we hold no customer personal data to provide.
• customers/redact — acknowledged; we hold no customer-level data to delete.
• shop/redact — we delete all of your shop's data (rules, conditions, sessions).

When you uninstall the App, your shop data is deleted.

Data storage & retention

Data is stored on our server infrastructure and retained only while the App is installed. It is deleted on uninstall or upon a shop/redact request.
